Nate Newlin

Prior to joining Gladius Capital Management, Nate Newlin worked as a portfolio manager at BlueCrest Capital Management managing a global equity derivatives portfolio with a primary focus on equity volatility, correlation, and relative value strategies.

Prior to BlueCrest, Nate was a founding partner and portfolio manager at Laurel Ridge Asset Management where he managed a multi-strategy hedge fund and a volatility hedge fund.  Before moving to the buy-side to found Laurel Ridge, Nate was a managing director for equity financial products at Bank of America. He was head of the proprietary dispersion strategies and all equity index derivatives trading for Bank of America.

Nate began his career at JP Morgan where he ultimately managed all U.S. index trading for equity derivatives including OTC structured products and listed and flow products. Earlier in his tenure at JPM, he was a senior trader in the Commodities Derivatives Group and worked in the FX Options Group. Nate has more than 20 years of experience in the financial services and investment management fields.

He has a bachelors degree in Economics with honors from Harvard.
