Simon Guyard

In his role as senior portfolio manager, absolute return, Simon is mainly responsible for uncovering attractive investment opportunities across asset classes, with a specific focus on equity derivatives. He also leads the quantitative team, whose mandate is to consistently seek to add different return streams to the portfolios. Simon brings nearly 15 years of investment and risk management experience. Prior to joining TCC in 2012, he worked for a specialist boutique asset manager focused on global real estate securities, where he was involved in risk management and portfolio construction from 2007 to 2012. Simon holds a Bachelor of Actuarial Science from the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM), as well as a Master of Business Administration from HEC Montréal. He is also an Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) and a CFA charterholder.
