Today is #GivingTuesdayNow a global day of unity and giving in response to Coronavirus. A day where we can recognise, celebrate and give thanks for the incredible outpouring of compassion we have witnessed. We are continuing to support our members throughout this global pandemic #TogetherInIsolation<\/p>\n

Today, we are asking people to share a message of thanks on social media as a sign of gratitude to everyone who is supporting our communities. And, if people are in a position to give, then to make a donation to Spinal Injuries Association.<\/p>\n

Spinal Injuries Association support spinal cord injured people lead fulfilled lives.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

We are the expert voice and leading source of information and advice for people with spinal cord injury (SCI).\u00a0 For over 40 years, we\u2019ve been supporting SCI people and representing the wider SCI community to government and other decision-makers. Our work in campaigning, education and support is based on the personal experiences of our members.<\/p>\n

Our membership continues to grow and we represent more than 11,000 people.\u00a0 More than 50% of our staff and 80% of our trustees live with SCI.<\/p>\n

Our belief is that everyone has a right to live a fulfilled life and that means the life they choose, a life that has the same opportunities as everyone else\u2019s. These beliefs have informed the development of our strategic plan.<\/p>\n
