Daiwa Foundation Tohoku Scholarships: Application deadline approaching

In response to the 11 March 2011 earthquake and tsunami in the north east of Japan, the Daiwa Anglo-Japanese Foundation, in partnership with the British Council in Japan, launched a £250,000 scholarship fund to support Japanese students in the Tohoku region. 大和日英基金では、3月11日の東日本大震災により学業および生活に支障をきたした日本の学生に対し、25万ポンドの奨学基金を設立することを決定いたしました。奨学金は、イギリスの大学、大学院（修士課程及び博士課程）への就学、及びポスドクレベルの研究に従事する東北地方出身の学生が対象になります。当基金の新しい奨学金が東北で被害をうけた若い人たちの教育に少しでも役に立つことを願ってやみません。 大和日英基金東北スコラーシップは、ブリティッシュ・カウンシル（日本）との提携によって運営されます。詳しくは、ウェブサイトをご参照ください。
