SHIFT Presents: The DOTMOV Festival 2015
13/14 Cornwall Terrace, Outer Circle (entrance facing Regent's Park), London NW1 4QP
Organised by The Daiwa Anglo-Japanese Foundation
Japanese online magazine SHIFT presents the DOTMOV Festival 2015, premiering in the UK at the Daiwa Anglo-Japanese Foundation. We screened a selection of short films to showcase emerging international talent in film and the visual arts.
DOTMOV is a digital film festival which aims to discover gifted filmmakers who are as yet unknown, providing them with an opportunity to exhibit their works on the global stage. This year, the festival received 209 submissions from 16 countries; SHIFT’s international panel of guest judges have chosen the 12 best pieces to be screened at DOTMOV 2015.
Featured films include: “trace“, directed by Fuka Miyajima and “Tear Drops“, directed by SEASIDE BOY (Haruki Kawanaka).
This year’s festival took place in several cities in Japan and overseas throughout Autumn 2015. This UK premiere of DOTMOV 2015 explored the possibilities and potential of a new generation of digital artists.
