COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Update and Re-opening

Daiwa Foundation Japan House Gallery is now open and following government COVID-secure guidance. We are committed to the safety and wellbeing of all staff and visitors and are implementing processes to minimise COVID risks. All processes will be continually reviewed and adapted in line with government safety guidelines to ensure your peace of mind.

VISITING SAFELY

  • Please email us 2 working days before visiting (office@dajf.org.uk)
  • Please make sure you have downloaded the NHS COVID-19 Track and Trace app
  • Please arrive on time
  • Please follow all the safety instructions on site
  • Visitors will be asked to use hand sanitiser, check in with the NHS COVID-19 Track and Trace app and always to wear masks inside the building
  • If you develop coronavirus (COVID-19) symptoms after your visit, make sure to record them in the NHS COVID-19 app and follow Government guidelines/advice
  • Only visit with people from your household or support bubble (maximum group size: 6 people)
  • If you or a member of your household have symptoms of coronavirus including a new, persistent cough, a fever and loss or change of sense of smell or taste, we ask you not to visit the gallery. We will do our best to re-schedule your visit. If you are ill, then it is important that you postpone your visit

Administrative Controls

  • Carefully managed visitor numbers
  • Limiting staff in public areas and office spaces
  • Hand sanitiser and masks are placed at the entrance
  • Toilets are available. Please ask our team for directions.
  • No cloakroom. Avoid bringing bulky coats or large holdalls or wheelie bags
  • We have increased the frequency of cleaning in the gallery and bathrooms
