'Ainu, Portrait of the Wind' by Makiko Ui

This exhibition, held at the National Geographic London Store (102 Brompton Road, Knightsbridge, London SW3), displays the extraordinary photographs taken by Makiko Ui during her time spent in the Ainu community. The Ainu are an indigenous group of people from Hokkaido, although they have previously inhabited other areas of Japan.

The exhibition is taking place from the 27 July to 27 August. Opening times for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday are 09.00-20.00, for Thursday, Friday and Saturday it’s 09.00-21.00, and for Sunday it’s 11.30-18.00.
