AKIN: Artists from Kyoto in Pembrokeshire: Exhibition from 15 to 25 September 2016

Fishguard Arts Society in West Wales is holding an exhibition in collaboration with four artists visiting from Kyoto – Natsuki Kurimoto, Hiroshi Ueta, Makiko Berry and Naomi Ando. In addition to the main exhibition which runs from 15 to 25 September, there is a lovely exhibition of work by children from Kyoto in Fishguard Library Gallery and a collaboration exhibition in the historic ballroom in Tregwynt Mansion.
Four masterclasses involving the Kyoto and Fishguard artists in this collaboration have been arranged as well as four youth/children workshops with local schools . There will also be a Shodo event, a big origami crane being built and a collaboration Bluestone sculpture.
