FOREST - by Atsuo Okamoto - A Japanese Sculptor in London - 28th March – 8th May 2011

The Daiwa Anglo-Japanese Foundation was delighted to  support Atsuo Okamoto’s inaugural exhibition in London. This high profile display, taking place at the Rootstein Hopkins Parade Ground, Chelsea College of Art from 28th March – 8th May 2011, was the culmination of an exciting new partnership between UK and Japanese counterparts which ensued from an evolving relationship over several years. Significant collaboration and long-term links were established between the Sidney Nolan Trust, the University of the Arts London and Joshibi University of Art and Design, where Okamoto teaches, in organising this important exhibition. For more information please go to the Sidney Nolan Trust and Chelsea College of Art & Design, University of the Arts London (Press Release).
