Categorised under: Events, Theatre & Film
Little Sunshine and Little Rainfall invite you to their magic garden. But trouble is afoot for the two gardeners when naughty Storm Fox comes to visit…
Blending four stories of the Japanese fox with the four seasons and inspired by haiku, origami and Japanese folklore, this production uses traditional storytelling, songs and dance and is brought to you by the same creative team as The Paper Washi Wish, A Thousand Cranes.
A Thousand Cranes aim to promote intercultural dialogue and exchange by creating visual, vibrant, physical theatre inspired by stories from Japan and Europe which celebrate and unite the two differing cultures.
This theatrical experience is aimed at younger audiences and their families (ages 3+). The production is in English, with some Japanese.
Little Sunshine, Little Rainfall, presented by A Thousand Cranes in association with artsdepot, will take place on Friday 15 June (10am and 1pm) and Saturday 16 June (12pm and 3pm). Tickets: £7/£5 schools
