Kan Yasuda's work on display in the Fitzwilliam Museum's Sculpture Promenade 2012

The Daiwa Anglo-Japanese Foundation is delighted to be supporting The Fitzwilliam Museum’s third Sculpture Promenade, featuring work by Kan Yasuda, 6 March 2012 until January 2013. A press release can be found here.
The Fitzwilliam Museum has organised sculpture and poetry workshops to coincide with the Sculpture Promenade. The details are as follows:
Friday 11 May: 11.00 – 13.00
Suitable for beginners
£20 (£15 concessions)
Saturday 12 May: 11.00 – 16.00
More experienced writers
£40 (£35 concessions)
Sculpting the line
To coincide with this year’s Sculpture Promenade, this writing workshop with Tamar Yoseloff explores the intersections between poetry and sculpture. Participants will be invited to consider shape and structure on the page, using the exhibition as inspiration for new poems.
