Noh Training Project Group (Royal Holloway) launches

The Noh Training Project UK is delighted to announce that it has established a brand new Noh Group in association with Royal Holloway (University of London) to give people interested in Noh the opportunity to practise in the UK’s only dedicated Noh theatre, and to meet like-minded people.
Noh Training Project Group (Royal Holloway) is a completely new venture for and is open to all.
The group will meet fortnightly, on a Wednesday, starting 30th October. The structure of the practical sessions will be guided by participants. The Noh Training Project UK hope that you might be one of them.
Where: Handa Noh Theatre, Royal Holloway (University of London), Egham, Surrey
When: Oct 30, Nov 13, Nov 27, & Dec 11.
Time: 5-9pm
NB: Once per term, the group will meet during a weekend. Dates tbc.
Places are free, but space is limited so booking essential!

Noh events in the week of 18 November 2013 at Oxford and Royal Holloway
Professor Reiko Yamanaka of the Hōsei University Noh Theatre Research Institute is bringing four Noh actors over from Japan, to Oxford and Royal Holloway University of London.
The workshop at Oxford will take place on Thursday, 21 November: Oxford Workshop
The event at Royal Holloway will take place on the late afternoon of Friday, 22 November. It will comprise a talk followed by a short student recital, then a performance and costuming demonstration by the Noh actors.
