Opportunity: Social Science Events Internship

Categorised under: ,

The Daiwa Anglo-Japanese Foundation is the leading UK charity supporting links between Britain and Japan. Core programmes include the Daiwa Scholarships, Daiwa Scholarships in Japanese Studies, Grants, and events and exhibitions at the Daiwa Foundation Japan House.

We are looking for interns to join the events team to assist in target research for our social science seminars. These seminars cover a range of issues, such as international development, politics, economics and social issues, which are related to Japan and the UK.

We are looking for someone hands-on and engaged who is prepared to work flexibly as part of a small events team. Interest in Japan would be a distinct plus.

The key responsibility will be to research and compile target invitees for our social science seminars.

Interns are able to work remotely or from the Foundation’s headquarters in London. This position is unpaid but interns will be reimbursed for local travel expenses during their internship.

To apply, please send your CV to rosalind.grubin@dajf.org.uk, copied to nana.ota@dajf.org.uk, by Tuesday 4th June 2019.
