Shūji Terayama Retrospective at the Tate Modern, Friday 16 March to Sunday 25 March 2012

The Daiwa Anglo-Japanese Foundation is delighted to be supporting Shūji Terayama ‘who can say that we should not live like dogs?’ at the Tate Modern, Friday 16 March to Sunday 25 March 2012. Curated by Thomas Dylan Eaton in association with the Tate Modern, the retrospective will show some of Terayama’s most famous films, including Emperor Tomato Ketchup and Pastoral Hide and Seek. The retrospective will also feature a symposium, ‘I am a Terayama Shūji’, in the Tate Modern’s Starr Auditorium, Friday 23 March 2012, 10.00–17.00.
