UCU strikes and the Daiwa Scholarship deadline. Statement, 28 November 2019.

The Daiwa Foundation is aware of the UCU strikes taking place until 4 December. We understand that applicants for our Daiwa Scholarships may consequently encounter difficulties in submitting academic references by our deadline of 5 December. Thus, we will continue to accept references which arrive at our offices in London during the week beginning 9 December. We respectfully request that those who are affected by these strikes and will be sending in their references late, do so at the earliest opportunity.
