The WEA (Workers’ Educational Association) for Adult Learning will be operating a course with the support of the Daiwa Anglo-Japanese Foundation. This course will help to develop an understanding of the Japanese artistic and cultural approach, providing knowledge about key aesthetics and other essential issues relating to Japanese art and culture. These will be looked at in both their traditional and modern contexts. At the end of the course students will also have a better appreciation of Japanese society and people’s way of life.
