Daiwa Scholaships alumna Dr Eluned Gramich wins the Ghastling Novella Prize
Categorised under: Books & Publications, Scholarships
Many congratulations to Daiwa Scholarships alumna and award-winning author Dr Eluned Gramich on wining the Ghastling Novella Prize with her new story, Sleep Training!
“This book was a clear winner from the outset. It is a story that addresses and explores motherhood and female experience; childbirth and postnatal depression with authenticity. This story breaks the mould of a typical ‘haunted house’ ghost story. The characters harbour real demons and fears that exist in the world as we see it today – making the book ultimately relatable and an even more unsettling read.” https://theghastling.com/2021/06/18/novella-prizewinners-announced/
In March 2015, Eluned’s Woman Who Brings the Rain won the inaugural New Welsh Writing Award which celebrates the finest non-fiction writing (in short form) on the theme of nature and the environment.
