Having previously been included in the British Council’s group exhibition, Mark-ing at Gallery Libby Sellers in 2013, Nagasaka returns with a solo presentation of the Flat Tables series which has been in development since 2009.

Mark-ing is an exhibition exploring the subtle differences and parallels between British and Japanese culture. The showcase presents work by 16 contemporary designers, eight from each country, alongside the ordinary objects that have influenced their careers. The exhibition has been curated by Tsuyoshi Matsuzawa and Max Fraser, was organised by the British Council and E&Y co., ltd, and received a Daiwa Foundation
