Praemium Imperiale 2013: Antony Gormley and Sir David Chipperfield amongst the laureates

Yesterday, Tuesday 17 September, the five new Praemium Imperiale laureates were announced in London, Rome, New York, Berlin, Paris and Tokyo. British sculptor Antony Gormley and British architect, Sir David Chipperfield were among the five awardees and in attendance at a generous reception, celebrating 25 years of the Prize and the 2013 recipients, at the Embassy of Japan in London. Both British laureates have long-standing bonds with Japan.

Talk on Kan Yasuda by Peter Murray at the Fitzwilliam Museum, 26 September
