In this exhibition at the Embassy of Japan in London, Gold: All That Glisters – Japanese Gold Decoration, visitors can see a variety of Japanese gold-related products from different periods.

Carl Randall's 'Hibakusha Portraits' on display at UCL Museum on 18 and 19 June

Carl Randall’s ‘Hibakusha Portraits’ (a series of 6 drawings of survivors of the atomic bomb in Hiroshima), are now part of the permanent collection of University College London Museum.  The drawings were inspired by John Hersey’s book ‘Hiroshima’, in which the American journalist interviewed 6 survivors just after the atomic bomb was dropped. Carl’s set of 6 portraits are intended as a visual equivalent of Hersey’s documentary account. They are being exhibited at University College London Museum on 18 and 19 June (1pm to 5pm)  as part of the museum’s permanent collection.

'Kyoto - city of dreams', exhibition by Jeremy Hoare in London, 10 to 15 June 2014

KYOTO – city of dreams is an exhibition of photographs by Jeremy Hoare, professional travel and portrait photographer, television cameraman, director and producer, who has been photographing Japan and Kyoto in particular for over twenty-five years. His photographs have been used extensively worldwide in all forms of media; newspapers, magazine, brochures, books, videos and promotional material.
