Former Daiwa Scholar, Guy Mayman is taking part in DATAMOSH at Oriel Wrecsam until 21 March 2015.  DATAMOSH came about when artists Paul R Jones and Guy Mayman discovered a large archive of 35mm slides, audio cassettes and A4 booklets earmarked for destruction at the Art School where they were working. This material was no longer wanted because of a perception that it had been rendered obsolete by the digital hardware and Wi-Fi access ubiquitous in the 21st Century.

Edmund de Waal's 'Atmosphere' is showing at Turner Contemporary until 8 March 2015

Former Daiwa Scholar Edmund de Waal has transformed Turner Contemporary’s Sunley Gallery with his new work, Atmosphere. The work, overlooking the North Sea, has been created in response to the changing landscape and clouds viewed from the gallery and the architecture of the space. Vessels are suspended in the gallery, capturing the changing light.

Carl Randall will talk about his 'Hibakusha' portraits at UCL on Tuesday 3 February , 6:30pm

Carl Randall will be giving a talk at University College London Museum about his ‘Hibakusha’ portraits – a series of six drawings of survivors of the atomic bomb in Hiroshima. The works are part of the Museum’s permanent collection, and will be on display during the talk.

Tuesday, 3  February, 6.30-7.30pm. Free entry.
